Baby Dream

Among the many, many, MANY pregnancy dreams I've had throughout this whole ordeal, I decided to record this one in particular, as I remember it so vividly. Although, I've had dreams that the baby was a watermelon, dreams that it was a boy, a girl, twins, that my best girl friends turned out to be the father... Pretty WEIRD stuff, I've gotta say! This one was pretty high up there on the weird scale, too. It happened while I napped this afternoon.

Basically, I had the baby already, and it was a beautiful baby girl! And for some reason, I had to work, so I had to bring the baby along to work with me, and care for it while working. So every time the baby cried, I went to her and held her and fed her. The weird part was that I always started my feeding regime with a couple of spoonfuls of applesauce, some bites of cookies, and then attempted to breastfeed. Clearly I was supplementing with something? Anyway, when trying to breastfeed, the baby took okay to my left breast, but then when I switched sides (like the books say) the baby had some difficulty taking to the right one! However, the reason for this was obvious, as my right nipple... was a snake.

Sorry for the graphic visual folks, but MAN that was weird. I woke up shortly after this, wondering where on earth this came from. Maybe I have breastfeeding anxiety? :P
